My Christmas Prayer of Thanks
I am thankful for Almighty God who has watched over
my family all of my life.
Thankful for the Universe and all of its wonders.
For Mother Nature with the Trillions of Creations
that never cease to interest me.
For the oceans, lakes, streams and ponds that
comfort and support us
For winds and breeze that surprise us and caress us
For the people of the world, who strive each day to
survive and learn and love and create.
For the animals who amaze us and those who love us,
namely our pets.
For the plants, trees and flowers that make us appreciate
our beautiful world every day.
For the workers whose energy creates and builds things
that provide us with shelter, food and clothing.
For technology that provides us with amazing inventions
for health, comfort and entertainment.
For teachers who help us all to learn and improve our minds.
For the engines that transport us to places we want to go.
For those who inspire us to greater things and greater love.
For those who give their lives each day to protect us.
For those who create programs to help the needy.
For those who donate generously from their good fortune to
help the poor all over the world.
For each new idea that helps all people.
For children who make each day a treasure.
For people who accept all with no prejudice.
As I look around my home and yard, I am truly thankful for
everything God has given to me.
My wish is that all of my loved ones will always have the faith
that has seen me through for over 76 years.
Surrounded by God's love , I celebrate the birth of His Son,
Jesus Christ, my Saviour.
