'A True Story'
My husband and four friends
Went hunting...Alas!
He bought a license..shells
Lodging and gas
He proudly brought home
Three little ducks
I figured they each
Cost him thirty five bucks
He came home late
He was tired and worn
He said he would clean
Those ducks in the morn
He put them under the porch
What a sight!
The neighbors dog ate them
During the night.
