'Nobody Won'
Nobody won
No one ever does
When the sadness settles
And you look
At the mess.
Just stress
People seldom change
They instead justify
Their stand
And try to
Pass the blame
On that plate
Called hate.
It started over
A broken heart
And yearning for
What never could be
A baby bombarded
From both sides
His value
They couldn't see
A miracle that
He still grew tall
In spite of it all
He carried the ball!
I thought I was holding
Down the lid
But perhaps
I lit the fuse
It gets confusing
With such
Blown up clues
Explosions tend
To re- arrange
One thing is sure
Now things will change!
