'Ten Years Old'
She was MY MOM
Until you came along
From Me, you took her away.
Then soon a little brother
That took up more of her day!
I stand here feeling
So left out.
Nothing is fair anymore.
My marks in school are dropping
Now I'm punished behind this door.
The more I "act out"
The worse it gets
My life, it SUKS,
Who CARES?
The garage is empty
Except for a stool
And a rope hidden
Under the stairs....

The next time you think a child's problems
aren't that important, I hope you will remember this poem.
