How to write a letter to your Gramma.

"How to write a letter to your Gramma"

The new generation seems to have trouble knowing how to

write to old people so I have decided to give them an example.

Dear Gramma,

We are concerned about you as none of us

have heard from you in a long, long while.

We hope you are doing well.

Some think

you don't write because they have complained

about too many emails.

Everyone gets too many emails, well, except you, I guess.

Some think that it is because you

were always giving us advice and

we never took it, so you are mad at us.

Some think it is because you can no longer

afford to send us money and gifts as you

have stopped doing that too.

Some think that maybe since you never invited us to your

home but always said we could come when we

asked that maybe cooking and cleaning

before our visits became too hard for you.

You always looked very tired even though you

were all smiles and polite when we came.

Some think that maybe since your leg and hip

have been so painful for so long that even though

you are not quite 80, that the pain was

just getting too much to bear.

Some think that maybe you ran out of stuff to give the little

ones as they so enjoyed the bags of goodies

that you always gave to them. Some think that

even though they have written and complained about how unfair you

are, and how you don't

appreciate the photos we send, and don't like what we write in

facebook, so you deleted us, that maybe you just don't like us anymore.

Some think that maybe it is because we have so

many kids now, that you are just plain overwhelmed.

Since your Great grandchildren are getting close to their teen years

we get very tired and overwhelmed too.

Some think you have stopped writing to all of us because

some have treated you badly and sassed you and we

know you don't like to be sassed.

Well, whatever it is, we wanted you to know

that we haven't forgotten you and are

still waiting to hear from you.

Love,

Your Grandchildren
