"Fire in the Hole"

"Fire in the Hole"

He noticed her right away.

She was different.

Aloof yet aware.

She stared at nothing

as he watched her from afar.

He said hello and the stare

became a smile of delight

and a sparkle in her eyes.

She knew he had been watching

and felt the same attraction

he had felt.

The invisible fire danced around them

Drawing them together.

What was going on?

They didn't know or question

They walked hand and hand

Together towards the beach.

"The Monster"

"The Monster"

I have seen it in those I love

It is eating them alive

and now it is trying to eat me.

I think it starts when neglect or pain

is too much for little ones to bear.

It grows as they grow

Never letting real hope and happiness

inside.

It prevents them from experiencing love

and appreciation for all of God's gifts.

It makes them obsess and try to do one

crazy thing after another which brings

them down and negatively affects those

who care for them.

It is like an Octopus from hell, strangling

them, they can not turn off their brain.

Drugs won't work except for awhile.

They want to sleep. They really want to die

but are afraid to say it.

They no longer see the sparkle in their children's eyes

Nor a sunrise nor sunset.

They see a blur of ideas on how to stop the strangulation

they are feeling.

They lie, they cheat, they steal but nothing stops the pain

or the constant blame they put on others. This can't be

their fault! Someone else has to suffer too. No one has the

right to be happy when they feel like this. Do they?

Are they insane? If not now, they are heading down that path.

You can't help them because they keep changing their story.

Lie upon lie upon lie until you no longer know the truth.

You can't get there from here.

You must stop loving them to save yourself.

Make your own Herbal broth

Make your own Herbal broth

I always buy whole chickens
already baked.
I remove the white meat and then
boil the skin, bones and the rest of the
meat to make a broth or chicken soup base.
(I throw the rib carcass away)

To the six quarts of water I use
to boil the three chickens,
(once strained)
I add the following for the best broth ever.
This is even delightful to drink by itself.
Strain boiled chicken, cool and pick off
best small pieces of meat.
Add the good pieces of meat back into
broth after straining.
Then add:
2 Tablespoons dried chives
2 Tablespoons Sesame seeds
2 Tablespoons dried Parsley
1 tsp Poppy seeds
2 teaspoons dried cilantro
1 tsp chia seeds
Put in broth and bring to boil for about five minutes.
I freeze it in pint freezer seal pak bags.
Ready to use for veggie or noodle soup.
Delicious!

Do this.
Brown chicken in butter

Once browned,
Add a mixture of:
1 tsp Heinz 57 sauce
3 Tablespoons Maple Syrup
Mix above in a separate bowl
with 4 shakes of black pepper.
Then add to the browned chicken and
stir well for a few minutes.
(with heat still on pan)

Larger Recipe

I use 3 tsp of Heinz 57 sauce and
9 Tablespoons of Maple syrup
and 12 shakes of black pepper.

Make sandwiches out of dinner rolls or put on
rice...anywhere! YUM!
