SOUP BASE~ No Fat, No Meat needed!
This came to me in a dream.
It is the most delicious base for
soup of any kind.
You do need a Vita Mix blender
to powder the following ingredients.
1 cup dry navy beans
1 cup dry lentils
1 cup dry Basmati rice
1 cup dry Barley.
Place above in your vita mix heavy duty
blender.
Turn on high and in no time it will turn
all to powder. Powder will feel hot.
Save powder in clean Jar.
You then use 1/4 cup of powder for every
four cups of water.
(8 cups water -you would use
1/2 cup powder base)
Stir and let it come to a boil and then
simmer for 20 minutes.
(watch it, as it may boil over)
Now you have a nutritious base.
Add whole kernel corn
and one bottle of V8 juice
or tomato juice.
add anything you like
and it will taste delicious.
It needs a little salt too.
This is a filling, nutritious
Non fat, soup base.
The taste is delicious
no matter what you add.
Some suggestions to add:
Garlic, Onions, carrots, celery, hot sauce,
canned corn, any fresh or canned veggie.
A little milk for a creamy soup, just use your
imagination, you already have the nutrition.
