Mice chew wires in cars and cause thousands of dollars worth of damage. Mice can cause lots of disease.  Stored cars are good targets but any car can have mice.

Do not eat in your car, keep bird food in tightly covered plastic pails., catch bird seed in tarps under feeders and dump each night in trash  bags. Do not make a buffet for rodents.

Mice will make a nest in your air filter, glove box, under the back seat, on the motor, near the  wipers, almost anyplace they when they can find a hole bigger than a dime to enter into your vehicle.  They will urinate on everything and it will smell.  Watch for mice feces. ewww
