I might become, 

Just a 'lump on a log'

She said, on her  blog.

Glitz and glitter

Aren't my style

I need a break

For just  awhile.

I  must contemplate

Hollow

In past sins

I won't wallow

Let my mind go blank

No turning a crank

Just drifting in fog

Just a 'lump on a log'.

Footnote: Today, I was thinking of an expression

my Gramma used to say. "Don't sit

around like a lump on a log"  

Now the idea kind of appeals to me.

Does that mean I am getting old?
