'He's Not Like Me'
He thrills to the joy
Of a bright spring day
To the trout filled springs
In the Month of May.
Loves a flop-eared hound
And a fishing pole
A picnic lunch
A country stroll.
He smiles when he's happy
That trout's mighty fine
He caught him on
A home made line.
He likes ice cream sodas
And apple pie
He goes to church
He's a 'Regular Guy'
He found a young bird
And he knew it was dying
Put it back in its nest
Kinda felt like crying.
He's twelve years old
And his name is Jack..
But he's not at all
Like me....he's black.

makes me sick to think about it)
