It started out small

And seemed harmless enough

"Why did everyone have

to like her so much?"

He surrounded her with it...

She tried to step around it

Rise above it...

But alas...It soon

Encompassed her

And took away her life.

Resentment...finally appeased

Called in its cousin...

Emptiness.
